Inspiration for the “Bonneville” motorcycle came from a love of Bonneville Salt Flat cars and motorcycles. Some of the most incredible engineering and craftsmanship can be seen there. It is where form and function is in a league of it’s own.
The Bonneville motorcycle was built for the Michael Lichter “Naked Truth” exhibit at the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in 2015 which showcased 35 top builders from around the globe. The concept was simple to build a motorcycle in its “Raw” form, no paint, no chrome to amplify each builder’s craftsmanship and skill.
It takes more than one glance to fully appreciate the extensive details the Bonneville has to offer. The engine was machined and built in-house. Highlights of this motorcycle build include; Merch Performance Evolution big bore cases, 4 ½ inch stroke, 3 5/8 bore S&S cylinder heads, 1976 FLH 4 speed transmission, EBC brake rotors, Tech Cycle chain primary drive and a combination of Mad Jap Kustoms hand crafted stainless steel and aluminum parts through out.
The Bonneville is an extremely fast and nimble ride that will put a smile on any motorcycle enthusiasts face!
